O.K. I'm talking about him. He's one of my four sons and how he ever made it to adulthood is a question we must ask ourselves. When he was just a little tyke and had just finished a large meal, he would stand on his head on the couch. Does it digest better that way? Did he want to see life from a different perspective? That must have been it, because he sure seemed to "run into situations the rest of us would rather avoid. Remember the time he lit a match to see if there was any gas left in the old metal can?
What was he thinking??? That's one way to get rid of eyebrows in a hurry, and where his face was all scrunched up is where he managed not to have a radically red face. Hmm, what did the doctor say?
And what about the time---that we found about later, that he and at least one of his brothers were leaping from ice floe to ice floe not that far from the mouth of a river. What if they would have been swept off to sea??
Yup, and he emptied his pockets once, offering all his earthly goods to his friends lest he did not survive swimming through the culvert at flood time.
